Dr. Stephanie Suchy was born and grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago. She received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 2014 where she graduated with honors, and then went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 there as well. She is a partner at Hinsdale Animal Hospital where she started working in July 2019. At Hinsdale Animal Hospital collaborates with the Hinsdale Humane Society, providing spay and neuter services as well as occasional wellness and sick exams.
Outside of work she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, including her husband Ben and son Theodore. She has a Black Labrador Retriever mix named Cole and a French Bulldog named Gus. Her favorite aspects of Veterinary Medicine include oncology, shelter medicine, & soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Suchy is currently serving as a Board Member of the CVMA and as a Continuing Education Committee Chair. She enjoys both planning and attending continuing education events. She is a member of the AVMA and is also USDA-APHIS accredited and Fear Free certified.
Dr. Suchy has been chosen by the Executive Committee to represent CVMA at the AVMA Leadership Conference. Congratulations to Stephanie. CVMA thanks her for all she does.
