American Academy of Veterinary State Boards
The American Academy of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) association whose membership is comprised of 57 veterinary licensing boards including the United States, 4 Canadian provinces, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. AAVSB is committed to serving the veterinary regulatory agencies, our Member Boards, by providing quality, relevant programs and services that these Boards can rely on to carry out their statutory responsibilities in the interest of public protection. The CVMA is an approved provider of continuing education through AAVSB’s Registry of Approved Continuing Education, or RACE. RACE is a national clearinghouse for the approval of continuing education providers and their programs.

AVMA PLIT The AVMA PLIT commenced in 1962 and at the end of its first year, offered professional liability protection to 2,350 AVMA members. IDES The Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) would like to share updates from the agency, to better serve you and your employees: Reporting Identity Theft Fraud IDES has developed a reporting form for employers to report instances of identity theft which resulted in fraudulent claims being filed under the names of one or more of their employees. Please refer to this guide to securely submit an identity theft report at MyTax.Illinois.gov. Additional guidance to protect employees against identity theft fraud is available on IDES’s employer fraud webpage. IDES respectfully request that all employer ID theft fraud claims now be submitted using the MyTax form and not through any individual IDES email accounts or telephone calls. Phishing Scheme Fraudsters are renewing their attacks posing as IDES representatives attempting to steal personal information via email, text and social media messages. Please remain alert and vigilant to identify fraudulent communications. IDES will never contact individuals via text message. This improvement will make those first steps toward recovery more convenient.”
