It’s Spring. The tulips are blooming, our fur and feathered babies are birthing, and the days are once again getting longer. The beauty and energy of spring in Chicago is in the air. Growing up, as this is the time of year we always did spring cleaning and made summer plans…great things to look forward to.
But first. Let us all start by saying a resounding Thank You to Marcy Sewell, who has stepped up and led, orchestrated and navigated the innumerable CE events, annual registrations, board meetings and changing ED’s. She is our rock. Thank You, Marcy. We couldn’t do it without you.
As for Spring cleaning, we are in search of a PR Director. Do you know any driven veterinary professionals or great clients with the proper skillset to help drive our organization? We need to increase our media and social media presence. The CVMA should be at the forefront discussing and responding to the issues that affect our businesses, colleagues and patients in Chicago and her suburbs. We need someone with verve, drive and an honest belief in veterinarians and our mission to navigate and help create our new presence.
