Seeking highly motivated, energetic and confident veterinary technicians full and/or part time to become part of our team. We are a one doctor, full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Round Lake, Illinois. Our staff is cross trained in technician duties and reception duties. Our mission is to provide the best possible medical care, surgical care and dental care for our highly-valued patients. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients.
We are looking for team members who want to be a part of something more than just a job. Someone that comes to work not just to collect a paycheck, but because of the bond they have formed with our clients, their pets and the staff. Please bear in mind, this team member must be willing and able to perform veterinary technician, reception and housekeeping duties.
Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in the following areas of an animal clinic setting: patient restraint, surgical assistance, pharmacy, lab work, dental prophys, radiology, blood draws, IV catheter placement, and anesthetic patient monitoring. Candidates must also possess excellent client service and communication skills. Candidates must be willing to work one evening per week and one Saturday per month. Attention to detail is a must. Experience with Cornerstone is a plus!
