CVMA U Online Courses: CVMA U maintains the high standards of the in-person sessions through online course offerings.  These CVMA U online courses are approved by AAVSB-RACE for six (6) hours of continuing education credit. The CVMA U Online Courses are facilitated by renown subject matter experts in the veterinary field in real-time. 

  • The professional can take courses from anywhere with a computer and high-speed connection.   
  • The courses are divided into three, two-hour virtual sessions scheduled to take place on Wednesdays from 12:30-2:30pm CT. If unable to attend the live session, students will receive a link to the recorded session.
  • Students receive course materials via their email accounts. 
  • The instructor presents information while showing the power point on the screen. 
  • Students have time for live questions and discussions that are included on the recorded link. 
  • All who successfully complete the course receive the letter of completion.

2026 CVMA U In-Person Courses

CVMA U In-Person Courses: We continue to offer seven in-person classes a year facilitated by renown subject matter experts.  Each class is approved by AAVSB-RACE for six (6) hours of continuing education credit.   

  • All students are sent course materials via their email accounts.  
  • In-person courses take place at Brookfield Zoo at the Discovery Center from 8:30am-4pm. 
  • Attendees will have opportunities to interact with vendors and colleagues. 
  • Breakfast and lunch are included. 
  • All who successfully complete the course receive the letter of completion.
