Dr. Karen Woodard

Dr. Karen Woodard is a 3 time Texas A&M graduate:  BS 2002, DVM 2006, and MBA 2020.  She worked as a Small Animal General Practioner for the first 14 years of her career.  She was at a Small Animal Hospital in Houston where she moved from Associate DVM eventually to Medical Director.  After finishing her business degree in 2020 she expanded her influent into multi-hospital management and relocated to Arlington Heights, IL.  She currently oversees Medical Operations across 14 hospitals within 4 Midwest states including Illinois and the greater Chicago area.  Her focus with hospitals is ensuring Quality Medicine is delivered while maintaining Positive Work-Culture.  Outside if work she is in the process of writing a children’s book, while raising 2 teenage sons with her husband.  Dr Woodard’s animal crew currently consists of 3 dogs and 2 guinea pigs.
