Hospice Veterinarian

Compassionate Veterinary Hospice provides dedicated hospice and palliative care, and in-home euthanasia for Chicagoland cats and dogs. We fill a very special role for pets and pet owners, providing hospice care with an emphasis on pain management, quality of life assessments, and caregiver support.

We are seeking a part-time Veterinarian to join our small, tight-knit, growing team; looking for the right person to share our vision of providing dedicated, compassionate end-of-life care. If you are looking for a renewed mission in your veterinary career, with a strong sense of caring compassion, this can be a very rewarding and fulfilling position. Enriching client relationships, great on-the-job training, continuing education in end-of-life care, and opportunities to grow with our expanding practice are some of the perks offered by this position.

This position includes 20-30 hours per week of regularly scheduled office and appointment hours, plus a rotating schedule of evening and weekend on-call shifts. We provide 24/7 care for our established hospice patients’ urgent needs.
