Full or Part Time Veterinarian position in Mount Prospect
We are looking for a full time veterinarian to join our practice located on the border of Mount Prospect and Des Plaines in the Northwest Chicago Suburbs. Mount Plaines has been operating in Mount Prospect for over 50 years, with Dr. Ruffolo serving as the owner and medical director since 1999. Recently we expanded into the adjacent unit of the four unit building which the hospital is located in, adding a separate cat boarding area, dog play area, as well as a staff break room, additional office and storage for a total of approximately 7000 square feet of space. Mount Plaines is located in a neighborhood setting with great clientele, many of whom walk to the hospital.
We are well equipped, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, doppler blood pressure, ECG, high sped dental, updated LED surgical lighting, and more. We enjoy good relationships with specialists in the area, and also provide veterinary acupuncture with our part time associate. The work environment is very stable, with most of the outstanding support staff having been with the practice for over 10 years. We have been certified with AAHA for over 25 years.

Schedule is flexible, after-hour emergencies are handled by local emergency centers. Salary will be commensurate with experience and benefits include CVMA and AVMA memberships, malpractice and health insurance, CE allowance and VIN membership, paid vacation leave and discounted services for pets.
We are looking for the right individual to replace a full time associate of nine years who is moving out of state. Our focus is finding the right individual for our practice, and we will actively support and mentor a new grad.
