Our high-quality, AAHA accredited, small animal hospital located just north of Chicago is looking for a Veterinarian to join our team!
Forest Glen Animal Hospital is a 4-doctor practice operating in a beautiful 5,000 square foot facility with 5 exam rooms. Our hospital cultivates a teamwork approach with all members helping each other which maintains a healthy, positive work environment.
We desire an enthusiastic, positive Veterinarian who is comfortable providing medicine for preventative care, chronic illnesses, and emergency care for long-term clients. Our ideal candidate would create long-lasting client and patient relationships to enhance lifelong preventative care. Able to educate clients and willingness to effectively communicate and mentor support-staff to provide high-quality medicine is a plus. Must be comfortable and efficient at completing dental cleanings and extractions, routine surgical procedures, and emergent surgeries. Ability to perform or willing to learn orthopedic procures is another plus but not necessary.
No after-hours emergency duty or call.
Continuing Education is encouraged. Other added benefits include health insurance, dental, vision, 401K and paid time off.
