Harbor Animal Hospital in Winthrop Harbor, IL is seeking to add a great associate doctor to our team who, like us, believes in delivering the highest possible standard of care. You are enthusiastic about surgery and have the basics (spay, neuter, dentistry, tumor removals, etc.) covered. You understand that better medicine is worth the investment/value, and spend more time on client communication than on technical skills. Ideally, you have some experience in general practice or internship training, but will consider a new graduate as well! $10,000 Signing Bonus!

We have a good tech to doctor ratio, allowing our doctors to focus on being a doctor and not a tech, complete in-house lab, digital x-ray, and all the support our new doctors will need. 

We are a full service animal hospital located in Winthrop Harbor, IL, on the northern border of Illinois and 60 miles north of Chicago. Our area boasts many outdoor recreation opportunities and we have the largest marina in the Great Lakes—a boater or fisherman’s dream come true!

Requirements:

• State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
