Description |
Dr. Lappin returns to the CVMA to present the most current information on his favorite topic: Feline Infectious Diseases. Dr. Lappin’s 3-part presentation will include:
-Infectious Diseases of the Feline Gastrointestinal System: The diagnosis and management of common
infectious causes of vomiting and diarrhea in the cat.
-Infectious Diseases of the Feline Respiratory System: Emphasis will be placed on diagnostic procedures and the rational use of empirical antibiotics.
-Prevention of Infections in Cats: AAFP vaccine guidelines will be discussed as well as vaccine
indications and pitfalls. Vaccine associated sarcomas, vaccine titers, and production of antibodies
against renal tissues induced by FVRCP vaccines will also be covered.
