Continuing Education
One of the cornerstones of the CVMA is an uncompromising commitment to excellence in continuing education for its members. Seven day-long seminars provide 42 hours of continuing education credit each year, 6 hours of credit per meeting. Nationally renowned lecturers in various subject areas present these in-depth sessions. Topics are always current and very widely to offer a broad selection to the membership. On occasion, we also offer shorter complimentary lectures to members. These lectures usually provide 2-3 hours of continuing education credit.

Member Days
Have lunch with fish at the John G. Shedd Aquarium or the monkeys at the Brookfield Zoo. Go boating on Lake Michigan with your pooch at the Canine Cruise. Got baseball? Get your free tickets to the White Sox "Dog Days of Summer."
Committees

CVMA Bulletin
Published six times a year, the Bulletin keeps our members current with changes in the veterinary profession, upcoming meetings, meeting minutes and historical information. The bulletin also offers a listing of Chicagoland relief veterinarians, classified ads and special announcements.

Our website expands our reach to the public and offers current information about the CVMA, legislative alerts, education, pet loss assistance, and student opportunities.
