Continuing Education
Veterinarian: The CVMA provides five general meetings and six full-day seminars each year including lectures by nationally recognized speakers. Additionally the CVMA hosts a management seminar per year.
Technician: Due to budgetary constraints, we now offer one technician seminar for Veterinary Technicians. However, veterinary technicians are welcome to attend all CVMA Continuing Education Seminars at a reduced rate.

The CVMA provides a detailed directory of members, hospitals, diplomate categories and areas of special interest.
Member Days
Have lunch with fish at the John G. Shedd Aquarium or the monkeys at the Brookfield Zoo. Go boating on Lake Michigan with your pooch at the Canine Cruise. Got baseball? Published six times a year, the Bulletin keeps our members current with changes in the veterinary profession. The bulletin also offers a listing of Chicagoland relief veterinarians, classified ads and special announcements.
