Description |
A veterinarian’s proficiency in the interpretation of laboratory data is an invaluable tool in the proper diagnosis and treatment of our canine and feline patients. Dr. Thrall’s seminar will include:
-Cytology: In House or “Out-House”? a discussion of situations in which cytologic aspirates should
be examined within the clinic and when they should be sent to a clinical pathologist.
-Lymph node cytology overview-when to request PCR for the diagnosis of canine lymphoma.
-When to examine the blood film: What the in-house blood counter doesn’t tell you.
-Case Discussions: Interpretation of biochemical profiles, cbc’s, urinalysis, and cytology to make a diagnosis.
-What’s new and exciting in the clin path world!
