Veterinarian positions

The position's role includes program needs assessment, development, marketing, program accreditation and administrative oversight of classroom and clinical instruction. The position is required to have extensive cooperation and collaborative relationships with faculty, students, staff and the public, and with professionals in peer organizations and professional associations. Expected to collaborate with academic and student services departments to contribute to retention of students as well as to represent the College in a positive manner. Ensures campus compliance with campus specific accreditation and licensing requirements. Coordinates program activities with other campuses where the program is offered to ensure consistency.

Minimum education requirements:

• Licensure as a DVM or RVMA. Equivalent of two years full-time experience within the past five years, or have three years part-time experience within the last five years and evidence of pursuit in Master's degree or higher degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Experience shall be in Veterinary education, clinical practice or administration.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Perform under general supervision.
• Determines own methods of performing assigned work.
• Clinical competence in at least one Veterinary specialty
