Beach Park - Hospital Manager needed

We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Hospital Manager to lead the team at our busy 3-doctor small animal hospital.

 

**Candidates must have experience in customer service management, veterinary practice management or human medical management as well as a passion for providing outstanding customer service.** This position requires someone that is excellent at handling difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.

 

Job Responsibilities
Personnel
Plans for optimal staffing to assure maximum productivity and service
Supervises support staff personnel and ensures that staff is properly trained
Maintains employee motivation and assists in structuring continuing education for staff
Responsible for holding staff meetings and communicating information from corporate office - new policies, promotions and updates.

 

Patient/Client
Responsible for overall client/patient satisfaction within the hospital
Responsible for community outreach and local marketing initiatives/programs
Ensures that there is an adequate supply of retail products and medical supplies
Responsible for accuracy of all patient records - written and computer-based
Responsible for the client call back programs - reactivations, follow-ups, confirmations, no-show calls, etc.

 

Administration
Ensures that the hospital operates within budget and achieves growth projections
Oversees the building and equipment maintenance and housekeeping standards
Periodically reviews fee schedules for services and products - work with Regional Manager to discuss changes as necessary
Assists Doctors with production goals - periodically reviewing charges to ensure that all charges are being captured
Responsible for the daily receipts - reconciling, bank deposits, etc.

Southwest Animal Care Center: PT Certified Technician

Southwest Animal Care Center located in Palos Hills, IL is looking for a P/T certified technician to join our team. We are a 2-doctor practice in beautiful Palos Hills. We are primarily small animal internal medicine and surgery, however we do see pocket pets. We have a new digital dental radiology unit, full in-house diagnostic testing including CBC, chemistry profiles, electrolytes and blood gases. We run all urinalysis and fecal testing in house.

 

The candidate must be a team player who is friendly, outgoing and has excellent communication and client service skills. The technician must practice the highest quality of patient care. Candidate must be skilled in the following areas: blood draw, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, pharmacy and excellent nursing care.
